Biography

I am a Data Scientist at Flipkart Internet Private Ltd. since August, 2020. I worked on automatic question answering and answer generation pipeline that utilize different information sources of a product to answer customer queries. Currently, I am building a review extraction model for different aspect categories of a product.

Previously, I completed my integrated dual degree (Bachelors and Masters) from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in July, 2020. My Masters thesis project was on goal directed small molecule generation using reinforcement learning for which I worked under the supervision of Drs. Balaraman Ravindran and Karthik Raman. I am fortunate to have spent my time at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology advised by Dr. Kenji Doya in Summer, 2019 and at Purdue University advised by Dr. Gaurav Chopra in Summer, 2018.
